Red Gate house is a happy family residence near Rice University.The house built sometime in the late 30’s, like so many had been amended architecturally throughout its 70 + years. Bl, set about to restore design and cohesion into the landscape.The owners, a young family with a young active son and large red dog needed a fence. A wooden picket fence was designed to freshen up the house’s facade, while keeping the young family members both two and four legged, safely away from the street. A vegetable garden and tree house were added to encourage garden interaction and fun.
